Pearce, on loan at United from the Premier League side Birmingham City, played in last summer's championship and will be a key player for the mini-league in Northern Ireland.
He is ruled out of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy game against Grimsby on October 7 as well as the home game against Crewe the following Saturday.
England play Albania on October 8, Northern Ireland on October 10 and Serbia on October 13.
