Burton blow for Iron
Scunthorpe will be without striker Deon Burton for the televised clash with Fleetwood.
The veteran hobbled out of Saturday's 3-3 thriller at Dagenham - in which he scored - with a calf injury and given the quick turnaround, he will not recover in time.
Paul Hayes replaced him in London and also scored, so he is favourite to earn the start in front of the cameras, though Gary McSheffrey and Paddy Madden are also in contention.
Defender Andy Dawson (hip), winger Andy Welsh (knee) and striker Matt Godden (ankle) are still out.
Fleetwood boss Graham Alexander will assess his squad.
The Cod Army came through a testing challenge at Burton on Saturday, winning 4-2 in gruelling conditions which saw the game delayed for an hour so Alexander will check his men for any knocks or fatigue.
Jeff Hughes (broken leg) and Jamille Matt (ankle) continue to occupy the sidelines while Antoni Sarcevic was named on the bench at the Pirelli Stadium and will be eyeing a start.
Fleetwood have won their last four games in League Two and will replace Scunthorpe at the summit if they make that five.
