Taylor made for Iron

Taylor has spent the past two months on loan at Glanford Park, and although the club had admitted an interest in signing him permanently the move went through earlier than expected.

The charismatic winger was one of three loan players brought to the club at the height of the recent injury crisis, and United have taken over his contract until the end of the season.

Iron manager Brian Laws said "He is a good player who wants to learn, he always has a smile on his face."
