Three could return for Hull derby

Sparrow and Byrne have both served two match suspensions and will return to the squad which travels across the Humber Bridge tomorrow lunchtime.

Midfielders Darren Holloway and Wayne Graves both picked up knocks during the midweek win over York City but are expected to be fit for tomorrow.

One man who will be determined to get one over Hull will be on-loan striker Steve MacLean.

Mudrats manager Peter Taylor labelled the 21-year-old a diver this week, which is sure to give MacLean a massive incentive to ram Taylor's words back in his face.

The Hull side will be familiar to many Iron fans, but Andy Dawson - who contorversially left United to join Hull in the summer - is ruled out with a long-term thigh injury.

Pint-sized former Iron striker Jamie Forrester is likely to have to settle for a place on the subs bench.
