Season ticket holders can opt whether they become members of the Official Supporters club, while Iron Card members automatically join.

Fans who pay via credit card will be stung with an extra 2.5 per cent on top, which, using a £372 season ticket for the Telegraph stand as an example, is an extra £9.30.

Prices have also gone up on Iron Cards. If you buy prior to July 31 it will cost £10 adults, and £5 concessions. After July 31 it will be £30 adults and £15 concessions.

Season tickets have also gone up in price by around £20.

Meanwhile, United have announced the introduction of smoke free zones in parts of the stadium after a poll on the official web site showed over 75 per cent would welcome a ban on smoking at Glanford Park.

Smoking is allowed in the Study United terrace, but most parts of the other three stands have been made smoke free.

Matchday prices:
Scun Telegraph stand: £18 (£11 concessions)
