Knee problems
His knee proved troublesome throughout the christmas and new year period, and there has proved little let up in January.

During the 3-2 defeat at Hartlepool he suffered a reccurance of the injury, and it has been suggested  that he will have to undergo surgery in order to cure the problem.

Should this be true then the club will only be left with Steve Torpey and Brian Quailey as recognised first-team strikers, although Lee Hodges played up front whilst he was at West Ham United and youth team forward Mark Anderson could be used, though he has yet to make it off the bench for the first team.

A loan signing is also an option, although with the club around £2million in debt there isn't any money available.
