The Cameroon U-22 international played for the second-half against the Spireites, and made an impression on manager Nigel Adkins.

"It is difficult to play with a bunch of new players, especially when the game was so slow," said Adkins.

"There are possibilities, hopefully he'll be back with us until Wednesday and then we'll make a decision.

"He has got some nice touches and showed flair going forward."

United drew the match 2-2, with Adkins admitting the side lacked sharpness despite already playing three pre-season games.

But although they had record three straight wins before Saturday, they had not really been tested by Brigg, Sunderland or Boston.

"We were a bit lacklustre, not that I'm taking anything away from my players because I know how hard they work," added Adkins.

"Our players looked fit, I just didn't think we had that sharpness about us."
