Beags will miss the match with a calf injury, while Byrne is ruled out with a hamstring injury.

Centre-back Andy Butler will face a late fitness test with an ankle injury.

Wilcox is unlikely to spring any surprises in his selection, and could name the same side that lost out to bottom club Carlisle on Tuesday night.

He said: "I don't want to build up the Leyton Orient game too much because we have eight games left but it is important that we return to winning ways.

"I feel the players have enough to get themselves out of trouble and the positive of putting me in temporary charge is that I know the players, I know what makes them tick and hopefully I can get the best out of them.

"I will go through Leyton Orient's team with Nigel Adkins and look at their strengths and weaknesses and select an eleven that I think can beat them.

"I don't see me making any changes from Tuesday night to be honest. If they show the same level of commitment as Tuesday then there won't be a problem."

The visitors will throw deadline day signing Andy Scott into the starting lineup, while fellow new boys Shaun Cooper and Warren Hunt should find themselves on the bench.

Influential left-back Matt Lockwood is injured, while David Hunt is suspended.
