Yeovil Town manager Russell Slade has snapped up the former Reading defender Aaron Brown on a week-to-week contract as he continues to strengthen his threadbare squad.

The 25-year-old becomes the seventh player to move to the Glovers this summer.

Brown struggled to break in to the Reading first team following his arrival from Tamworth in November 2005 and was released by Steve Coppell after the Royals' relegation from the Premier League was confirmed in May.

He made four first-team appearances for Bournemouth during a loan spell at Dean Court in the second half of the 2005-06 campaign.
