Murray suffered a thigh strain against Cheltenham on Saturday while Forster sustained a knee injury in training.
Adams told the Argus: "We'd prefer to have our first-choice pairing available, especially Glenn Murray in the sort of form he's in at the moment, but we'll have a look at the squad and see what options we've got.
"If the options aren't sufficient we'll probably dive into the loan market."
