The midfielder, 21 impressed in four appearances for the Robins before suffering an ankle injury, but Allen is hopeful of keeping Wesolowski in the long term.
He told the Gloucester Citizen: "There is a chance we can sign him in January. He enjoyed being here as well, like all of our loan players.
"I ring him every day and his recovery is going very well. We will have to see how his injury is, but there is a strong chance he can come back here."
