Colchester make £2m from stadium name

The Essex side are moving to a new ground at Cuckoo Farm this summer, and have reached an agreement with a building firm for shirt and stadium sponsorship.

Their ground will be known as the Weston Homes Community Stadium, with the company also sponsoring the club's home shirts next season. The agreement will run for 10 years.
