Hartlepool fail in bid for Ipswich striker

The 19-year-old played six times while on loan at Pools earlier this season, but the Tractor Boys want a higher fee for him.

Boss Joe Royle said: "Hartlepool have made a bid for Dean but it's not quite matched our valuation.

"We have made Dean aware of the situation and there are other bits and pieces to the deal tied in so we will see what develops."
