Leeds deny approach for Windass

The 39-year-old has been a bit-part player for the Tigers since their promotion to the Premier League, having made only three appearances for Phil Brown's side this season.

Windass had stoked speculation by saying Leeds had made an approach, but they are adamant that they are not in the hunt.

Boss Gary McAllister told the Yorkshire Evening Post: "I'm more than happy with the squad at this current time and have no immediate plans to add players to it."

The Hull chairman Paul Duffen had earlier said the club have received no approach.
