Leicester City have denied reports the club has been sold to a consortium of Thai businessmen.

Milan Mandaric, the Foxes chairman, is keen for investment but the club stressed no deal has been completed.

"Chairman Milan Mandaric has always maintained that he would welcome the right partner to help him move the club forward. Discussions have taken place with a number of interested parties but no agreement has been reached," read a statement.

"If any discussions with any interested parties lead to concrete agreements regarding a partnership to assist in moving the club forward, Leicester City fans will be the first to know."

Crystal Palace expect to complete the signing of goalkeeper Lewis Price. He is a free agent after being released by Derby County.

Doncaster Rovers striker James Hayter has signed a new two-year contract that will keep him at the Keepmoat Stadium until the summer of 2012.
Hayter joined from Bournemouth in 2007 in what was then a £200,000 record signing, ending his 11-year spell with the south coast club.
Gary Deegan, the Coventry City midfielder, will miss the first three months of the season with a stress fracture to an ankle.
