Mansfield offer Vaughan trial

The 27-year-old defender found himself completely out of the first team at Forest last season, and spent most of it out on loan - spening a month at Mansfield, while ending the season with Scottish Premier League strugglers Motherwell.

Mansfield boss Keith curle knows he needs to improve his side's defence, as they conceded 97 time last season as they were relegated from the second division.
