The franchise side were comfortably outclassed by Nottingham Forest on Saturday, with their 3-0 loss at the City Ground leaving them six points away from safety.

And with just nine games left to play, Wilson knows his side need to stop conceding soft goals if they're to avoid the wooden spoon at the end of the season.

He said: "They were very poor goals to concede and we have got to stop conceding sloppy goals if we are going to stand a chance of staying up.

"I firmly believe we have the players to keep us up, and I am sure it will go down to the wire again."
