Flo, 35, has been tempted to revive his playing career by his former Chelsea team-mate Roberto Di Matteo, who is manager of the Dons.
"We were always looking to get one more striker in with some different qualities and Tore's got a bit of experience as well so hopefully he will be a big hit," said Di Matteo.
"I hope he's going to contribute to the team with his experience and his vision, but at the end of the day he's a striker so we hope he's going to score loads of goals."
