Prayers sending Bristol to the very top

Prayers: Spooky shrine ahead of Iron clash
Johnson has asked fans to light a candle and pray for the club in their push for the Premier League.

And Johnson, who was delighted when Orr fired home a fluke to win the points at Glanford Park, believes their prayers may be answered in their quest. If they pull it off, it would confirm Johnson's reputation as one of the most successful and highly regarded managers in the lower leagues.

Ironically, a photo of the Robins' matchwinner's shirt surrounded, was sent in to the Bristol City official website before the game.

The Robins contingent at Glanford Park were annoyed that the candles were put out by stewards, however the West Country club have reminded fans that it is not safe to light them inside a stadium.

A statement on their office website read: "The club would like to advise fans that unfortuntely, due to safety rules, it cannot allow candles to be lit in the stands during games."
