Rochdale plotting play-off turnaround

A last-gasp Ian Miller header proved decisive at the Darlington Arena, with the Dale goalkeeper Tommy Lee at fault for failing to deal with a high ball into the area.

However, Hill said after the game: "I am not despondent in any way, shape or form. It is still a tight game.

"It was a definite mistake by Tommy, but he's done really well for us since he's been on loan from Macclesfield.

"There's not an awful lot in it, one goal isn't much of a margin. To go to our place 2-1 down, I'm still encouraged. We are more than capable of scoring goals at our place."
