Shrews set to net Holt

Holt, who had been linked with the League One clubs Scunthorpe and Carlisle, is set to snub a move to his home town in Cumbria to join Paul Simpson at the New Meadow.

The clubs have agreed an undisclosed fee for the player, who is now discussing personal terms.
