"His loan was due to expire after Saturday's game with Yeovil so we've sorted out keeping him for another month," he said.
"I'm pleased it's been sorted out because he gives us a bit of muscle in there. We've been scoring plenty of goals, but he does a good job as a holding midfielder and helps the defence.
"I think he's been excellent for us and I'm very pleased he'll be staying for longer."
