The Baggies were beaten 2-1 at Victoria Park on Tuesday night, but Mowbray was not too concerned after seeing his side start their league campaign in a positive fashion.

"If you have seen our league action, that has been pretty good. We dominated an Everton side who finished fifth in the Premier League on Saturday," he said.

"Any win is nice, but we won't dwell on it too long, we move on. The Premier League is our bread and butter and we are looking forward to every game. We have started very well.

"As a manager, who realises it is 38 games, it is all about the performance for me and if we play as well as we have done, we will win games. They probably deserved the victory on the night and good luck to them."
