Keegan leaves Newcastle... again

The former Scunthorpe player held talks with the St James' board earlier this week, with the club forced to deny they had sacked him.

But he finally left the Toon for a third time, the second time as boss, on Thursay.

"I've been working desperately hard to find a way forward with the directors, but sadly that has not proved possible," he said in a statement.

"It's my opinion that a manager must have the right to manage and that clubs should not impose upon any manager any player that he does not want."
