Kell makes Scarborough loan move

The 25-year-old will have his Tykes contract extended until the end of this season, but the former Middlesbrough man will go out on loan to get some vital match practice.

Since coming back into action he has made three substitute appearances and one start.

"It looks like he'll go to Scarborough. He needs the rough and tumble of first-team football," Tykes boss Andy Ritchie told the official Barnsley website.

"Richard needs games week in, week out. That will be a big benefit to us."
