MacLean confident at Owls

MacLean, who spent last season on-loan at Glanford Park from Rangers and finished as the division's top scorer, admits he should have scored more than five goals this season.

His prolific goalscoring exploits in North Lincolnshire came in patches, often with barren spells inbetween, and the young Scot believes that he will find form again quickly.

He told FootyMAD: "I have scored five goals this season but I could have easily have got 15 so far but I will keep plugging away.

"Every single striker goes through lean spells but I will keep getting into the positions, keep trying to hit the net and once that goal goes in I have every confidence more will come.

"We have some good players at this club, some good strikers too, and whoever I end up playing alongside I always endeavour to do my best and keep my confidence high."
