More surgery possible for Kell

Kell quit Glanford Park for Barnsley in the summer, and recently signed a contract extension after making a return to reserve team football for the Tykes.

But he is sufffering from soreness, and is waiting on a specialist's verdict.

Manager Andy Ritchie told the Press Association: "He's been to see a specialist again and after having a look at him we're going to give it another 10 days.

"He has a little bit of soreness in the muscles around his leg and if it's no better in 10 days he might have surgery to release the muscle tissue a little bit.

"It would be a setback, but not a huge one. He's been doing really well. He's forced himself through the problem so far and seems to be improving.

"But we'll have to see. He's still the player he was, no doubt, but it just affects his power at the moment."
