Pettinger quitting the game?

Pettinger has apparently failed to settle in Merseyside after his £45K switch from Glanford Park, and has had his contract cancelled by the Premiership outfit by mutual consent.

Everton however will keep his registration as a player in case he decides to return to the game.

He has yet to make a first team appearance for either club.
